Open-plan living downstairs, a king-sized bedroom and en suite shower upstairs, plus a private courtyard for a little fresh air at the end of the day.

A generous, characterful home made for sharing good days together.
Upstairs, a light-filled living space brings together old oak beams, a log burner and a standout kitchen. Downstairs are two en suite bedrooms, including a freestanding bath in one bathroom. One bedroom can be arranged as twins on request.

Wennington sits where Lancashire opens towards Yorkshire and Cumbria. Follow the lanes, stay close to the river, or set off for a bigger day out.
Walks from the farm, Wennington station within walking distance, and the Tatham Bridge Inn at the end of the drive.
Quiet lanes, riverside paths and fell country made for wandering on foot or by bike.
Head towards Ingleton and the Dales for waterfalls, limestone landscapes and village stops.

Our farmstead is described as dating to 1688. Long before today’s escapes, travellers followed the old York to Lancaster road past the inn and across Tatham Bridge, a route marked on John Ogilby’s 1675 map.
Across the River Wenning, the village has medieval roots: Wennington appears in the Domesday Book, and its green once hosted markets and fairs. The railway arrived in the 19th century. The landscape still invites you to linger.
